ABOUT INCLUSIVE MINDS NETWORK

Inclusive Minds Network supports schools, trusts and youth-facing organisations to build safer, more confident and more human-centred systems of support.

We work with leaders and teams who care deeply about young people, but are often holding complex work with limited time, stretched capacity and increasing pressure.

Our work brings together youth mental health training, safeguarding-aware reflective practice, staff wellbeing, practical AI support and change management.

The aim is simple: to help people feel clearer, more confident and better supported in the work they are already doing.

What we do

We provide practical training, resources and consultancy for schools, trusts and youth-facing teams.

This includes:

• Youth Mental Health First Aid training and Refresher courses
• reflective supervision and facilitated team reflection
• safeguarding, pastoral and wellbeing team support
• September Ready resources for the start of the academic year
• safe, practical AI resources for planning, communication and admin
• consultancy around wellbeing, inclusion, staff confidence, culture and change

Everything we offer is designed to be realistic, useful and grounded in the realities of education and youth-facing work.

Why we’re different

We understand that schools do not need another initiative that looks good on paper but adds more work to an already full day.

Our approach is practical, relational and human-centred.

We help teams pause, make sense of what they are holding, and identify small, realistic next steps that feel possible in their setting.

That might mean helping staff feel more confident after mental health training, supporting pastoral teams to reflect on emotional load, or helping schools use AI safely without losing the human judgement at the heart of their work.

We do not believe wellbeing should be fluffy, performative or separate from the systems people work in. It should be practical, embedded and connected to the real pressures staff and young people face.

Inclusive Minds Network was founded by Caroline Spender, a trainer, consultant and change practitioner with experience across safeguarding, school improvement, youth mental health, governance, project delivery and organisational change.

Caroline has worked closely with schools, central teams and senior leaders through periods of uncertainty, transition and pressure. Her work is shaped by a belief that people do their best work when they feel safe, supported, informed and able to make sense of what is happening around them.

She brings together practical experience, reflective thinking and a calm, grounded facilitation style to help teams move from overwhelm to clarity.

Want to work together?

If you are looking for practical support around youth mental health, staff wellbeing, safeguarding team reflection, September readiness, safe AI use or change in schools, I’d be happy to talk.

Together, we can explore what would be most useful for your setting and what a realistic first step might look like.
